Abstract

The report case of a previously healthy adult, who presented with transverse myelitis with sensitive damage after a viral infection due to dengue and who was admitted in "Dr. Juan Bruno Zayas Alfonso" Teaching General Hospital from Santiago de Cuba is described, where an spastic paraplegia was diagnosed and he received rehabilitation treatment. After 7 months under intensive physiotherapy, the patient's motor function continues progressing and the neurological recovery has not been completed.
