Abstract

BAYES CACERES, Edgar; RODRIGUEZ REYES, Oscar  and  RODRIGUEZ BELTRAN, Nancy María. Hyperenvironment for learning descriptive statistics in stomatology career . MEDISAN [online]. 2013, vol.17, n.9, pp. 6009-6016. ISSN 1029-3019.

All biomedical information generates a significant volume of data that demand a meticulous application of techniques, procedures and methods to collect, classify process, summarize and present them, to be useful for research in question, and descriptive statistics is responsible for that. Given this and given the lack of related literature, benefits of communication and information technologies in the current conditions of universalization were used to design hyperenvironment educational software by means of the Sadhea-web tool, addressed to second year students of the stomatology career, which contributes to improve the teaching-learning process and contents related to this topic.

Keywords : student; stomatology; descriptive statistics; educational software; hyperenvironment; biomedical research..
