Abstract

In this investigation, the process of primary care in the public health system of Ecuador is consolidated, from the epistemological point of view, specifically in the province of Guayas, with emphasis in the process of traditional and alternative therapies in the health care, related to the official biomedical system of comprehensive health, with holistic, family, community and interculture approach, based on the respect to the ethnic particularities and peculiarities. Different approaches and criteria assumed by the health professionals are defined, which favor the appropriation of a logic in the scientific thought, that contributes to the psychoneuroinmunoendocrinological balance that reaches the ally kawsay or good living of the Ecuatorian population
