Abstract

Climaterium and menopause acquire higher transcendency with the passing of time. In this respect, the concept of life quality has been transforming into an important cuban aspect when the climateric woman visits the specialist, searching a wider possible well-being. In the middle age, their body becomes more fragile as a consequence of the natural physiologic variations of climaterium and the impact of the social context on the person, whose physical and mental overload favors the emergence of processes which deteriorate the female health and make more critical the symptomatic pattern in this period, all these can be worsened if a previous psychogenic disorder and some unfavorable elements of the surrounding environtment exist
