The treatment of mild to moderate intensity oral-dental pain and of nociceptive and inflammatory origin generally requires the prescription of non-opioid analgesics. The actions of these medications and their main indications are exposed in the clinical and odontological practice, in order to contribute to increase the knowledge level on this topic, the quality of the prescription and the comprehensive care to the patient by the Odontology professional in the health primary level
