An investigation was carried out in the Stomatology Faculty of the Medical Sciences University in Santiago de Cuba, during the academic course 2011-2012, aimed at elaborating a didactic material that allowed to eliminate the deficiencies presented by health professionals as for writing the investigation projects, as well as to achieve uniformity and to improve the development of these investigations. Some residents were interviewed to identify the inadequacies of the basic script as for the aspects of Methodology of the Investigation and Statistics. After confectioning the material, it was used in the module of the subjects mentioned imparted to the residents. This material constituted a methodological tool for the development of each of the guide points of a project already existent
