Introduction: dental trauma should always be considered as an emergency situation. It must be diagnosed and treated quickly and accurately. A multimedia was proposed as supporting material of the educational process of the Stomatology career improvement. Objective: elaborate a didactic-methodological support material for Stomatology students and professors about dental traumatisms in temporary and permanent young teeth. Methods: to promote the teaching-learning process a technological innovation was made, from September to November 2016. Universe was made up by Stomatology 4th and 5th year students and teachers. We took a representative sample of 50 students and 10 teachers a total of 60 respondents. In order to achieve didactic media for the software, basic books and updated documentation were used and designed in the Chreasoft program, prepared by the Educational Software Department of the Medical Sciences University of Holguin. Results: this software provides an easy analysis and information recruitment for all students, teachers and health professionals in general. Conclusions: the software met the necessary technical and pedagogical requirements and increased knowledge of students and teachers, about injuries in temporary and permanent young teeth.
