Abstract

Congenital adrenal hyperplasia is one of the most frequent endocrinopathies in childhood. It is from the clinical viewpoint a sexual development disorder associated or not to salt loss condition in the neonatal phase, hyperandrogenism manifestations in adolescence and oligomenorrhea and fertility disorders in the adulthood. The diagnostic possibilities in the prenatal period has marked new milestone in management and prognosis of these patients, hence the interest of professionals for gaining more knowledge about this disorder.
