Abstract

Background:

The curricular strategies constitute a tool to achieve the comprehensive student training in the Health Rehabilitation Bachelor Degree, for that reason it is pertinent to achieve the contents link with these.

Objective:

To evaluate the pertinence of curricular strategies in the Semiology Program of the osteomyoarticular system to achieve the bachelor´s training quality in Health Rehabilitation Bachelor Degree.

Methodology:

A study of the curricular strategies and the contents of the subject were carried out, evaluating how they contribute to the quality of the graduate. The sample consisted of 23 students from the first academic year. To evaluate the pertinence of the curricular strategies they were considered students' participation in classes, modes of action, fulfillment of assigned tasks, as well as the evaluation of the teaching-learning process. To process results, methods of the empirical and mathematical level were used.

Results:

In the development of professional personality, interpersonal communication, ethical training and values, there were advances during the application of the proposal, as well as in knowledge and behavior regarding sexuality. The English language proficiency presented discreet advances. The evaluation of the indicators of the dependent variable through the different techniques and instruments were between 98 % and 100 % quality, considering that the strategies contribute together with the content to a better professional preparation.

Conclusions:

It was found that the contents of the subject favor the implementation of the selected curricular strategies, so they contribute to the bachelor´s training quality in Health Rehabilitation Bachelor Degree.
