Abstract
SAGARO DEL CAMPO, Nelsa María and ZAMORA MATAMOROS, Larisa. How was a methodology for applying the statistical implicative analysis in clinical investigations created?. Gac Méd Espirit [online]. 2020, vol.22, n.1, pp. 15-36. Epub Apr 01, 2020. ISSN 1608-8921.
Background:
Faced with the need to constantly improvement of the analytical methods and interpretation of results in clinical investigations to identify prognostic factors, a methodology that allowed the efficient use of statistical implicative analysis in these investigations was created.
Objective:
To describe the methods and procedures used in each of the research phases to obtain the proposed methodology.
Methodology:
A documentary review of the proper validation methods was carried out, taking advantage of the bibliographic databases from Internet, which was compared with the authors´ experience to conform the design and validation of the proposal.
Development:
The research was carried out in 5 stages: the theoretical-practical foundation of the usefulness of this analysis, the preparation of the proposal, the validation by three routes (criteria, content and a meta-analysis) and the final design of the methodology.
Conclusions:
In spite of the variety of validation forms used, the application of the methodology continues to detect possible deviations in the analysis and interpretation to be solved in the future.
