During the last 25 years thousands of rainfall records have been accumulated without any data processing in Cuba. This study is presenting a new approach for analyzing such amount of information and gives a study case with rain-gauge charts from the Institute of Meteorology in Havana, Cuba. Using this data processing methodology based on spreed sheets a complete historical rainfall records can be obtainedat any weather station where a rain-gauge has been installed with digital or chart storage. In the study case, results from processed rainfall in Meteorological Station 373 are shown.
