In this work the potential rate of sediment transport in Oasis beach sector, of Varadero beach, was determined. For this many variables were taken into account such as climatic, oceanologic, hidrologic, geographic, bathymetrical and sedimentologicalones, specially the latter one. All selected beach profiles are described and which of them were included into the sediments statistics. Causes of erosion were established. Each type of sediment transport was modeled and quantified using different methods: analytical, estimation and numerical models as XBEACH and Delft 3D.
