SUMMARY In the current article the authors pretended to evidence the insufficient presence of the bioethics in the contemporary medicine and also exposed the lacks on the theme in the design of the medicine career curriculum, fact that may affect the process of values reinforcement and the valuing bioethical practice in the new model of professional formation, all of that to explain the necessity of this matter in the career curriculum.
