Abstract

BALBIS CABRERA, Malena; MUR VILLAR, Norma  and  REYES RIVERA, Claudia Beatríz. Social perspective of the self-care in the patients with mouth cancer. Rev Hum Med [online]. 2020, vol.20, n.1, pp.167-188.  Epub Mar 29, 2020. ISSN 1727-8120.

The oral cancer constitutes a pathology that supposes a big social commitment so much for those who suffer its consequences as for the rest of the persons involved in this process of illness. The consequences of the pathology and of the invasive treatments needed for its reference can be minimized through the adoption of suitable measurements of self-care. A review of the updated bibliography was carried out with the objective to argue the influence of the social factors on the self-care conducts as regards the incidence and evolution of the mouth cancer.

Keywords : self-care; oral cancer; social factors.
