Abstract

In Cuban Health System pharmaceutical services require professionals with a solid background. In their formation process tutors play a key role. The present literature review includes 25 revisions in order to address this issue from the perspective of tutors` training. Theoretical methods were used such as analytic-synthetic, inductive-deductive and historical-logical. Empirical methods included document analysis that allowed determining current trends and regularities on this subject. Results confirmed training needs of tutors in this profile, so that they can incorporate knowledge, attitudes and skills that allow them playing their role according to the current demands of Higher Medical Education.
