Abstract

The objective of the research was to implement a strategy to increase the professional competences of the Specialists in Integral Attention to the Scholar of the Student Residence at the University of Granma. Empirical, theoretical and statistical methods and techniques such as interview, observation and documentary review were used. The diagnosis revealed deficiencies in technical-professional and socio-personal competencies. The potential of methodological work was used to improve the management of educational work. The evaluation showed an increase in professional skills, materialized in an improvement of the planning, organization, control and evaluation of the management of educational work.
