Abstract

LEON VILTRE, Lesyani Teresa; DOS SANTOS NEVES, Francisco de Assis  and  VILARAGUT LLANES, Miriam. Dynamic voltage restorer control based on the Space-Vector Fourier Transform. Energética [online]. 2014, vol.35, n.1, pp. 48-58. ISSN 1815-5901.

The great development of industrial automation, as a result of modernization and progress of equipment with microprocessor and power electronics has made loads now more sensitive to voltage drops. These disorders, even in very short time, can stop the whole process causing huge losses. For this reason a dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) is proposed in this paper for keeping uninterrupted operation of sensitive industrial load during voltages sags. The proposed DVR controller is based on the Space Vector Fourier Transform (SVFT). The vector controller is implemented in the stationary reference frames. Satisfactory results are obtained for distorted signals. The proposed system is simulated in Matlab for voltage dips balanced and unbalanced.

Keywords : dynamic voltage restorers.
