Abstract

TORRES NAVARRO, Carlos; SALETE WALTRICK, Maria  and  FLORES CANALES, Consuelo. Methodology for monitoring, measurement and energy analysis of a manufacturing plant. Energética [online]. 2017, vol.38, n.2, pp. 97-105. ISSN 1815-5901.

The objective of this research is to design a methodology to support a process of monitoring, measurement and analysis of energy performance for a leader company in the manufacturing of various types of paper for industrial use. The methodology is based on the pentalogy of Taiichi Ohno offering a chain of five management activities from the need to measure until the selection of energy performance improvements for an organization. The result is a detailed description for the activities for measurement, know, control, management and improvement. Key findings indicate that it is possible to apply the approach Taiichi Ohno to organize a process of monitoring, measurement, control and analysis of energy performance in a manufacturing company supported by consumption indicators, performance and energy savings associated with areas and operational equipment

Keywords : analysis; energy; energy performance; measurement; monitoring.
