Abstract

TORRES VALLE, Antonio et al. Risk analysis applied to the study of the energy sustainability. Energética [online]. 2021, vol.42, n.3, pp. 66-77.  Epub Sep 24, 2021. ISSN 1815-5901.

In recent years, risk analysis has found application in multiple sectors of technology and society. The article proposes an integrated risk analysis system applied to energy sustainability studies. In this context are framed the studies of risk perception or subjective risk on climate change, the impact analysis of the use of renewable energy sources on the objective risks associated with global warming and the technological reliability evaluations applied to sustainable energy sources. The proposed system has been implemented through specific computer codes (RISKPERCEP, SIMENI-CC, MOSEG), which address each of the fronts referred to the risk analyzes outlined. Examples of risk analysis applications that consider the use of renewable energy sources as an alternative for energy sustainability are presented.

Keywords : Risk analysis;climate change; renewable energy; energy sustainability.
