Abstract

BORY CONSTANTIN, Samuel  and  BARROSO BAEZA, Manuel. Notes on the restoration of the National Electric System in the face of total collapse and the update of the procedure. Energética [online]. 2022, vol.43, n.3, pp. 55-61.  Epub Nov 07, 2022. ISSN 1815-5901.

Electric Power Systems (EPS) are not conceived without contingency plans for partial and total collapses. National Electric System is constantly threatened by meteorological phenomena, so it is not exempt from the preparation of mentioned plans and it has a procedure in case of collapses of such magnitude. This paper describes the procedure´s updating process for total collapses, introducing new strategies to follow for its realization. The restoration´s stages after the collapse are briefly detailed. Then, it is proposed to use the strategies of "all open" and restoration in parallel. For their selection, the advantages and disadvantages of these strategies will be taken into account according to the consulted bibliography. In addition, it is proposed how the islands should be formed for the restoration.
