Abstract

DIAZ VELEZ, Dany Oscar  and  FILGUEIRAS SAINZ DE ROZAS, Miriam. Management of electrical faults in the tbφ 100 turbogenerators of the Ernesto Che Guevara thermal power plant. Energética [online]. 2023, vol.44, n.1, pp.143-152.  Epub Mar 23, 2023. ISSN 1815-5901.

An important equipment in power thermal plants is the electric power generator. For this reason, a group of measures are developed worldwide so that the electric generator does not go out of service, with direct current tests and alternating current. The tests that provide more information in real time are line tests, with in the generator running. The number of failure of the electric generators in Cuba is small, but it is important to have a tool to quantify these failure in order to determine what to make with them. Therefore, the objective of this work is to manage electrical failures in the TBΦ100-3600-T3 turbogenerators at the Ernesto Guevara Thermal Power Plant. This them is a lack of reliable data to implement international methods that measure the results of maintenance. The Analysis of Failure Modes, Effect and Criticality is implemented to determine the magnitude of said failures, proposing measurements to be carried out.

Keywords : criticality analysis; failure mode and effect analysis; maintenance management.
