Abstract

GOMEZ RODRIGUEZ, Eric; RODRIGUEZ PRIETO, Israel; MARANTE RIZO, Francisco  and  RIZO SALAS, Leysi. Study of the variation of different parameters in microcinta antennas AAPC. EAC [online]. 2013, vol.34, n.1, pp. 27-39. ISSN 1815-5928.

Current work present a study of the influence of the variation on the thickness of the dielectric substrate and the position of the slot have over some interesting parameters in aperture coupled microstrip antennas that radiates with circular polarization (AAPC). The results allow verifying that an increase in the thickness of the dielectric substrate through an increase in the thickness of the air cape, that in the frame designed separates the ground plane of the radiating patch produces a decrease of the resonance frequency, an increased level of isolation between feeds, it exerts a marked influence on the gain of the radiating structure and produces an increased of the axial ratio relation and of the cross-polarization. The displacement of the slots of the central area of the radiating patch produces a shift in the resonance frequency and a decrease in the level of isolation between feeds, the gain, the axial ratio and the cross- polarization.

Keywords : aperture coupled microstrip antenna; circular polarization.
