Abstract

TORRES-NAVARRO, Carlos  and  CALLEGARI-MALTA, Nelson. Criteria for to quantify costs and benefits in quality improvement projects. Ing. Ind. [online]. 2016, vol.37, n.2, pp. 151-163. ISSN 1815-5936.

The objective is to propose equations math to quantify costs and benefits associated with implementing quality improvement projects. The methodology used consisted of reviewing scientific publications online access related with quality improvement projects. Was used the affinity diagram y la typology of costs of not quality to organize and to gather concepts and verbal information. The results allow objectively describe the scope of the set of items of costs and benefits and accurately formulate seventeen simple mathematical equations. The main conclusions are that the items of costs and benefits frequently cited in the literature associated with improvement projects can be summarized through seven item of costs and ten item of benefits.
