Abstract

The Solidarity Banks Ecuador need a management information system therefore has developed a system which, together with the organizational culture allows solidarity funds, especially the manager, reflect mobilizing information, knowledge. Lack of management information systems to support decision-making at this level was demonstrated. A critique of internal processes, where the deficiency not including administrative strategies and the existence of few management indicators revealed was performed. The solidarity funds are financial entities performing loans and deposits of money in the rural sector and require a management information system based on indicators from efficient and aligned with business strategy internal processes, fulfill their mission and with a high probability to achieve your vision. The need for a descriptive research, applied and exploratory non-experimental, with the overall goal of developing a proposal, including assessment, design, construction and implementation of a Management Information System for solidarity funds, evidenced where They are studying those located in the province of Cotopaxi Ecuador.
