Abstract

The present paper is the result of an investigation carried out in the light aquatic units. The primary goal is to identify the needed improvements to enhance the Availability of its aquatic units. The main used method was the structured interview and its processing. The instrument was validated by a judgment of experts and the reliability with the Alpha de Cronbach coefficient, a value obtained was 0,88. The obtained qualifications (Over 5 possible points) are: maintenance policies 2,53, inventory 3,31, manual labor 4,16 and security 4,66. The current Availability is low and requires the proposed improvements in this work, to be able to enhance it.
