Abstract

PANELLAS ALVAREZ, Daybel. Youth cultures: the teams. Rev Nov Pob [online]. 2019, vol.15, n.30, pp. 86-99.  Epub Apr 15, 2020. ISSN 1817-4078.

The work presented is an approach to the characterization of teams, youth groups that are created and recreated from social networks, forming social identities that account for (among other things) heterogeneity processes and social inequality in our context. We worked from March to May 2019, with a qualitative approach, using multiple techniques. In addition to the analysis of publications on social networks, we interviewed members of these groups, officials of the Ministry of the Interior in charge of monitoring them, local residents and vendors who come to public spaces where members of these groups meet. The data referred to suggest many questions, invite new research and verify the dynamics of these youth groups.

Keywords : Groups; social heterogeneity; social identities; youth cultures.
