Abstract

MARTINEZ LARRARTE, José Pedro et al. Neuroimmunologicalstudy in a patient with neuropsychiatric manifestations in systemic lupus erythematosus. Rev Cuba Reumatol [online]. 2014, vol.16, suppl.1, pp. 385-390. ISSN 1817-5996.

Manifestations neuropsychiatric in Systemic lupus erythematosus debut can result of difficult diagnostic in absence of other elements of its clinical manifestations. Reibergram or Reiber´s quotient diagram are used in order to analyse the blood-cerebrospinal fluid barrier function and the proteins intrathecal synthesis. It presents a patient with manifestations neuropsychiatric that in the course of the illness is identified like a Systemic lupus erythematosus with affectation of the central nervous system. The patient showed a favourable response to use of steroids intravenous. It reflects complementary tests that oriented to this diagnostic and is established the intrathecal synthesis pattern of the major immunoglobulins using the reibergrama. This study constitutes the first report of the neuroimmunological response in a patient with neuropsychiatric manifestations in Systemic lupus erythematosus.

Keywords : Systemic lupus erythematosus; manifestations neuropsychiatric; neuroimmunological response; intrathecalsynthesis; central nervous system.
