FORMOSO MIERES, Alleyne Antonio; RAMIREZ ESCALONA, Tamara and SARDUY QUINTANILLA, Abel. The university-society relationship in the integral training of students. Conrado [online]. 2019, vol.15, n.67, pp. 24-31. Epub June 02, 2019. ISSN 1990-8644.
The purpose of this paper is to reflect on the importance of the process of bonding with society in Ecuador, through the observation and reflection of the work done by teachers and students of the Accounting and Audit Department of the Metropolitan University in two Parishes belonging to the Pichincha Province. The research shows the results obtained from the execution of the linking project, for which it was necessary to use the analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, historical-logical and statistical-mathematical methods and sources such as: interviews, surveys, observations. A comparative analysis was carried out using a statistical test that showed an improvement in the situation in the target population after the intervention, which contributed to the evaluation of the impacts. In this way, the fundamental conclusions were determined and the need for this process was demonstrated, as well as the commitment and the university social responsibility in the Ecuadorian context.
