Abstract

This work evaluates the level of knowledge of the transversal professional competences and the educational innovation of the students of the Faculties of Education and Mathematical Sciences of the UNMSM, of the VIII and X cycles, through a survey and option multiple questionnaires. The data are analyzed (SPSS) and the levels achieved are established with a measurement scale: achievement + 40% success, intermediate 25% to 40%, and start-24%, in a sample of 257 students. The 63% level of achievement prevails in the results, which contrast the validity of the hypothesis, the evaluation of the transversal professional competences propitiates the educational innovation, it means the conceptual knowledge of both variables, and their cognitive integral relation, attitudes and values. When relating the variables, the evaluation of competences is recurrent at the intermediate level. The relationship with didactics, the use of ICT and research is observed.
