Abstract

SMEs are very important part of economic growth, however a high percentage do not have access to financing from the bank, therefore the importance of analyzing different factors that influenced in the access to financing to SMEs in Ecuador from 2000 to 2017. As a methodology a design of a probabilistic model was implemented. This model was formed by internal and external characteristics of a sample of 366 enterprises. The result shown by this model remark that the size and the technological capacity are two variables that influence the most for a company to have access to financing.
