The present work makes an attempt to diagnose the real state of the problem at the level of educational institutions, Humberto Jordán Mazuera and La Buitrera, located in Santiago de Cali Colombia, about their interest in the initiative to use new methodological alternatives allow ethnic contents to be addressed in the current curriculum of the natural sciences area of Colombia, in order to take ethnic-cultural diversity into account. The results of the investigation show in a general, that there is good acceptance of the proposal to articulate the ethnic content to the natural sciences curriculum, as well as this proposal in a first approach in the classroom, it improved the learning environment, because it was achieved greater participation of students, who were highly interested in learning under the use of this methodology. Another great result is the positive aptitude of teachers compared to the proposal in its didactic nature that enriches the teaching-learning process of natural sciences.
