Facing the climate change, there is the imperative to contribute to minimize damage, which is why it is imperative to train the professional needed in the 21st century, which can consequently influence the actions that are projected in the countries, among which are in the Republic of Cuba, those of the Life Task. This paper presents some of the activities of the research project being carried out at the PCU "Enrique José Varona". It is associated with the National Program of Science, Technology and Innovation: Current problems of the Cuban Educational System. The objective is to demonstrate how research projects can contribute to sustained work that in Cuban universities is developed to fulfill this task of the state plan. The study that is carried out is of national scope although from its disclosure in different contexts, it can be a reference for other countries. It is developed using the research method -a participatory action. Within the procedures that are developed is the research, interview with specialists, work in communities. Their results are evidenced by the activities that are presented, which were advised and previously agreed with specialists from different institutions of the country and the Environmental Education Study Center of our educational institution.
