The human being in all aspects of the daily life uses communication, because it is the fundamental element of coexistence with others. In the development of society. This transforming activity is what currently offers a qualitative step to the development of communicative competence in a profession as a complex, social and interpersonal process that enables the exchange of information, interaction and mutual influence on human behavior given its fundamental purpose: the exchange of meaningful experiences. In the development of professional competences, its conception and instrumentation are included and extends to its formation. In this work, communication is based on professional competence as a necessary source for the professional formation in the university context and presents the experiences to achieve efficiency in pre-professional practices in the career of Tourism in Ecuador. It is essential to development in the student the communicative competence in the field of management of tourism activities.
