Abstract

Universities are of inestimable value in scientific and technological subsystem of each country and therefore they should stimulate the creative spirit and scientific training of professionals’ formation. This paper aims to describe some theoretical positions on scientific research and postgraduate as an indispensable tool in the University of XXI century. It is necessary to emphasize that scientific research and postgraduate programs at the university should be distributed more evenly to improve the potential for economic and social development. The role of science and postgraduate education in this process are taken as a starting point and assumes that knowledge and skills are at least as important for the future of the developing world during this century.
