The production of modern subjectivity demanded specialized devices for the production of docile bodies, such as the school device, where two constructions appear, the young and the youth one as subject, the other one as joint subjectivity. The objective of this study is to generate necessary notes to start the discussion about university youth, their tensions, challenges and experiences within the institutional, from a sociocultural approach, where young people are not considered the product of a purely biological phenomenon, as a process to be completed, but as subject’s agents of creations and changes in all human dimensions. The university is also a space that allows certain social sectors, the emergence of youth as a condition, especially in the indigenous world and, in a very particular way, in the case of the appearance of indigenous young women, where intersectionality invites to think more deeply about how the youth experience in university happens.
