In the present work, a study about creativity in children through the Plastic Arts is carried out. The objective focuses on the analysis of the main categories of the subject, as a basis for research, the location of the Faculty of Education, Science and Technology of the North Technical University in Ecuador. The concept of creativity and creative process is contextualized, the stages for the transition and the qualities of each one of them. The role of the plastic arts is studied as the discipline that can contribute to the development of creativity and budgets with which it is possible to conceive activities that contribute to its development. Finally, click on creativity, in the psychological category, in the form of the individual, in practice and in the creative process.
