Abstract

CESPEDES AGUIRRE, Lourdes Lucila. Perception of interest groups of university social responsibility in a public university. Conrado [online]. 2019, vol.15, n.70, pp. 81-89.  Epub Dec 02, 2019. ISSN 1990-8644.

The University Social Responsibility (RSU) is one of the management models that is being applied in universities, in that sense, the research was aimed at knowing the perception of internal interest groups (authorities, teachers, administrative staff and students) and external (graduates, professional associations, ONGs, social communicators and employers) about the RSU at the National University Hermilio Valdizán of Huanuco-Peru. The qualitative approach was worked on and the focus group technique was used, in which a representative sample of the interest groups participated. The dimensions of the RSU that were analyzed are: the management of the organization, professional training, research and social participation. The results show that, within these dimensions, research and social bonding are the ones that present the greatest difficulties, since there is little communication and accountability and involvement on the part of the university, to publicize the results of the research developed and the activities of linking with society.

Keywords : University Social Responsibility; interest groups; focus groups.
