Abstract

GARCIA ALVAREZ, Ignacio et al. Implementation of educational inclusion in the career Initial Education of the Metropolitan University of Ecuador. Conrado [online]. 2019, vol.15, n.70, pp. 330-335.  Epub Dec 02, 2019. ISSN 1990-8644.

Educational inclusion is a policy that today constitutes a social imperative at a global, regional, and Ecuadorian level in particular. The progress made in the theoretical and legal framework on the subject is still far from the reality existing in society, and in particular with the pedagogical practice at the level of the nation. Difficulties are shown in the preparation of teachers to transform educational contexts that allow students to attend to their needs. Educational inclusion mainstreams students' professional training in universities. In the Career of Initial Education of the Metropolitan University of Ecuador (UMET), this is shown both in the substantive processes of the initial formation, as in the conception of the postgraduate. An analysis of the main actions developed to prepare future professionals and in practices are exposed in this article.

Keywords : Educational inclusión; initial education; professional training.
