Abstract

LARA VILLANUEVA, Rosamary Selene. Challenges in Higher Education training at Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo: Complex learning and techno-pedagogical mediation. Conrado [online]. 2019, vol.15, n.70, pp. 465-474.  Epub Dec 02, 2019. ISSN 1990-8644.

The article analyzes how students learn from higher education and reflects on the complex processes in planning learning strategies with challenges to be considered in the different formative aspects, as well as the competences that students require to develop adequately when mobilizing knowledge according to situations that arise in different professional contexts. Also, the proposal of the integral curricular model of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo, (UAEH) is reviewed and it is identified how students can enhance complex learning, based on the pedagogical considerations of the competences, as of the incorporation of the RECREA project proposal on complex learning, when planning learning tasks that involve three key elements; complex thinking, the use of ICT and research in their professional training processes. Likewise, it is explained that the changes generated from the incorporation and integration of ICTs in education have allowed us to reconfigure the learning scenarios, but also the teaching methods, hence the importance of techno-pedagogical mediation in the processes of training of higher education students that lead to the development of higher order thinking.

Keywords : Higher education; complex learning; techno-pedagogical mediation; teaching and learning.
