Abstract

The analytic reflection and the critical debate about the characteristics and the necessity of developing investigative competitions in the University, are an imperative of the times that you/they run, where the technologies of the information, the media and the expansion of the interconnections to scale World cup energize the scientific knowledge extraordinarily. For it, the objective of this article is to offer a theoretical reflection about the investigative competitions and the necessity of such a vision for the university life. For such a purpose we develop a methodological strategy based on the critical analysis of the bibliographical sources and consulted documentary, as well as the employment of methods of scientific investigation of empiric and theoretical type and the application of technical and instruments, that is: the observation, the analysis and the synthesis, the induction and deduction, questionnaires, he/she interviews; which threw enough elements to obtain as results that the investigative competitions refer to the formation of abilities, behaviors, aptitudes, learning, knowledge, investigative and innovative capacity, information, values, reasoning, behavior, demonstrated in the social acting, as product of a complex process of construction of knowledge and to reach the conclusion that all the stages, levels and education types and schools, contribute to the formation of the investigative competitions, but they are the essential processes of the contemporary university, as final stage of the education, the main influence in this component of the education of the personality in the stage of the modernity.
