Abstract

CEDILLO PRECIADO, Santos Pedro  and  RIVADENEIRA RODRIGUEZ, Elmina Matilde. Citizen participation in the management of educational policies. Conrado [online]. 2020, vol.16, n.72, pp. 210-216.  Epub Feb 02, 2020. ISSN 1990-8644.

This descriptive study with the objective of analyzing citizen participation in the management of educational policies, responds to the type of bibliographic review; systematized through the methods of exegetical, hermeneutic, historical-logical and analytical-synthetic research. Among the main findings is that: in the country there is a legal framework that bases citizen participation in public policies and particularly in educational policies; however, the contribution of the members of the educational community and citizenship in general, in the contribution of ideas, actions and control of these policies is still limited; participation that must go through the preparation of society for this democratic exercise actively.
