Abstract

The objective of the research was to determine the correlation between social responsibility and work performance in employees of social programs in the Lima - provinces region. And the predicted hypothesis was: There is a direct and significant correlation between social responsibility and work performance in employees of social programs in the Lima - provinces region. The research was of the basic type, non-causal correlational level, non-experimental, transversal design. The research used the technique of the survey and as an instrument used the questionnaires on social responsibility and work performance were previously reliable (Cronbach's alpha 0,974 and 0,925) and validated by the construction criteria (Analysis of exploratory factors: 0,987 and 0,986 respectively). The results show us both that social responsibility and work performance in the study sample were good, tending to medium. The main conclusion considers that there is a direct and highly significant correlation (p-value: 0,000 <0,010) between social responsibility and work performance in employees of social programs in the Lima - provinces region in the period 2019.
