Abstract

In this essay, a review and analysis of various elements is made around the implications of the researcher in the field of social sciences, with special emphasis in the field of educational sciences. Among these elements were considered the characteristics of the close relationship between the object of study and the subject (researcher), as well as the relevance of the research-theory-data triad for the construction of new theory during the approach of the research problem, such as fundamental purpose of the research work of the social scientist. Finally, the influences of these considerations in the educational field are reviewed, considering the implications that they have in the methodological focuses of educational research.
