Contemporary scenarios show advanced scientific-technical development alongside economic, financial, energy, environmental and paradigm crises. In this context, professional training for international relations appears as an imperative for Universities. The present work has as objective: to argue the challenges of jurist training for international relations, so that the improvement of said teaching-learning process is achieved from the curricular and extracurricular dimensions in Cuba. For this, the jurist's formative process in Cuban universities is characterized, specifically from Public International Law and Private International Law. The pedagogical and didactic foundations that sustain him are established, and emphasis is placed on the development of legal argumentation skills during his law degree, as the basis of training for international relations.
