Abstract

RAESFELD, Lydia  and  HERNANDEZ PLIEGO, Maricela. The insertion to the labor field of the artists of the Institute of Arts of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo; vocation or habitus?. Conrado [online]. 2020, vol.16, n.74, pp.332-340.  Epub June 02, 2020. ISSN 2519-7320.

The diverse approaches and perspectives with regard to the insertion to the labor field indicate the current challenges faced by university students. For Bourdieu, he is incorporated into the labor field, whether in a professional or professional manner, it is due to the position and disposition that the agents have regarding the field. When analyzing the social space of the Institute of Arts (IDA) that is part of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo, through the theory of the economics of social practices of Bourdieu, through a mixed-cut study, it was found in the students that the degree of incorporation as habitus of the incorporated cultural capital, the symbolic capital and the biological-aesthetic, provide the position and disposition of the habitus within the artistic field of the IDA. With respect to the graduates, the degree of incorporation of incorporated cultural capital, symbolic, biological-aesthetic and linguistic, will provide the position and disposition of the habitus and the incorporation to the labor field in a professional or professional manner.
