This article analyzes the repercussions, reactions and adjustments that have been made to the accreditation process of universities in Panama. With the purpose of obtaining a panorama of the Current Status of the National System of University Evaluation and Accreditation of Panama, the problems that arose from it, the benefits that this brought to Panama at a national and international level. Through this article of reflection, which is subjective, we allow ourselves to put forward reflections, points of view and evaluations, based on different research findings.
