The management of educational institutions worldwide are threatened by different external factors that affect the development of daily activities, for which they require executing strategies that allow them to stay in the educational world, in this sense, the research aimed to establish the key elements that allow the execution of technological and methodological strategies for the development of online classes of medium-level educational institutions, as a measure of action against the adverse scenarios that have occurred. The strategies implemented are born from the situational diagnosis of the work environment, involving teachers, students and parents, in order to identify the key factors on which strengths and weaknesses are determined from a technological and methodological point of view, selecting according to the results, the virtual platform that adheres to institutional needs, the educational model to follow, and the mechanisms of interaction between the teacher, student and parent. The research is non-experimental, managing through the surveys applied to parents and teachers to outline the work phases, managing to define the actions to follow, in addition to defining guidelines for the development of virtual learning sessions, obtaining favorable results that guarantee the start of the school period in online mode.
