Abstract

The interest in philosophy in this work alludes beyond science in general, to questioning how to teach this subject. Although teaching philosophy is not completely different from other subjects, in order to make didactic decisions, it is considered necessary to revise the rationality of the theories and the methodology of the conception that serves as a basis, with the objective of identifying the aspects that are considered essential for the teaching of philosophy in secondary education in Colombia, particularly in the city of San Juan de Pasto, Colombia. The decision was made to broaden the reflection, in a generous invitation, in which general theoretical aspects are explored, as well as the specificities of the evolution of the positions in the Colombian educational system, and finally, the position that could be validly confronted with an innovative spirit is specified.
