Abstract

PIRE ROJAS, Alexis. Instrument to evaluate the school-family relationship in the virtual educational process caused by Covid-19. Conrado [online]. 2020, vol.16, n.77, pp. 298-306.  Epub Dec 02, 2020. ISSN 1990-8644.

From the wide spectrum that the notion of educating involves, it is important to evaluate the factors that affect such an act that is so vital to the formation of the human being. That is why as part of the integral nature of education and its conception beyond the borders of the school, the analysis of the relationships between educational institutions and the family, and specifically between teachers and parents, becomes important. In addition to how healthy these interactions must be at all times, their assessment is interesting in the atypical context of virtual education caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. For this reason, in this research a valid instrument is designed to evaluate the relationships between school and family in the context of virtual education, taking into account three essential dimensions: communication, participation and technological scenario. The questionnaire is validated by expert criteria using the Delphi Method and the consistency of its items is determined through the calculation of the Cronbach's Alpha, both in the version intended for parents and for the version aimed at teachers. Preliminary results from the applied pilot test are also described.

Keywords : School-family relationship; virtual educational process; COVID-19.
