Abstract

RAMOS SERPA, Gerardo. The nature of philosophical knowledge from the perspective of human activity: formative implications. Conrado [online]. 2021, vol.17, n.78, pp.94-103.  Epub Feb 02, 2021. ISSN 2519-7320.

Understanding the nature of philosophical knowledge is a permanent and highly complex topic in history and reflections about this type of knowledge. The present work sets out the objective of grounding the specificity of the philosophical knowledge assumed from the perspective of human activity, which would allow to specify important elements of the understanding of this type of knowledge and its significance for the formative work. The method of documentary analysis is used in order to promote the search, processing and critical evaluation of academic works related to the subject; as well as the analytical-synthetic method to delimit the elements that allow to offer an understanding of the specificity of philosophy from the theoretical prism of human activity. This allows arriving at the conclusions that through the correlation and close interdependence between the region of analysis, the object of study, the theoretical approach, the method, the dimensions, the constitutive moments, the structure, the theoretical functions and the purpose of the philosophy, it is possible to delimit in a more multilateral and essential way the understanding of the specificity of philosophical knowledge. The above allows to base the essential contribution of philosophy to humanistic education in the educational system, by offering the theoretical-conceptual basis for the fulfillment and realization of the general functions of humanistic education.
